This afternoon, the Chamber of Deputies reported that the worker Víctor Hernández Martínez died, on November 8, inside the San Lázaro facility.
He explained that yesterday, at the request of the Chamber of Deputies Workers Union, the General Directorate of Protection and Security (DGRS), reviewed more than 600 security cameras and entry and exit records to locate him.
“The daughter of said worker had contacted to report that she had not returned home after her workday,” the Lower House explained in a statement.

The DGRS reported that through the cameras, they located the deceased worker in one of the parking lots, where he vanished.
“This morning, after reviewing all the audiovisual material, it was determined that on November 8, at approximately 3:00 p.m., Mr. Víctor Hernández Martínez walks through the parking lot, known as Basamento, towards the construction joint between buildings H and G, where it is observed that it falls and does not rise,” he said.

The Protection Directorate notified the VC1 Prosecutor’s Office of San Ciprián, so that it could remove the body and initiate an investigation.
“At the moment, the Chamber of Deputies is waiting for the corresponding authorities to determine the causes of the death of the worker Víctor Hernández Martínez, who was highly appreciated by his colleagues, for which we extend our deepest condolences to his family and friends,” he concluded. .
