The Chamber of Crafts for Lower Franconia has a new president: Michael Bissert from Iphofen (district of Kitzingen) replaces Walter Heusslein from Billingshausen (district of Main-Spessart). The general assembly elected the plumber and plumber on Friday afternoon almost unanimously to head the chamber in Würzburg. Master carpenter Heusslein (69) could no longer stand for election for reasons of age. His successor Bissert (57) had no opponent. The Iphofener had been one of the Chamber’s two vice-presidents since 2016.
