Trøndelag police district reports challenges on the E14 between Stjørdal and Meådalen on Monday evening.
– We are on our way to Meådalen to assist a plow truck to get on the E14. It is described as very slippery on the spot and several vehicles struggle/get stuck because of this, the operations manager writes in a message on X/Twitter.
Vegtrafikksentralen Midt also reports challenges on the same stretch of road:
“E14 on the stretch Stjørdal – Storlien: We receive reports of challenging roads and several incidents, including between Meådal and Reinåa. Traffic is at a standstill in several places. The contractor is in the area to take measures,” he says The road traffic center.
Just before 7 p.m., the Trøndelag police district reports that a sprinkler and salt truck has driven. They say it is starting to loosen a bit between Stjørdal and Meådalen. The patrol on site estimates that the road will be open as normal in 5-10 minutes.
