The usefulness of a global navigation satellite system has expanded rapidly in recent years due to technological advances and innovations. The ideas competitions Galileo Masters and Copernicus Masters intend to further strengthen these innovations through topic-specific funding. Healthcare, agriculture and cybersecurity are a big part of this.
In order to take part in the international ideas competition, regional preliminary decisions are made in advance. The Baden-Württemberg Challenges are supported by the IHK Reutlingen carried out. The first two winners automatically take part in the international competition. Prize money and various prizes are available as prizes.
Galileo Masters
In the regional preliminary round of the Galileo Masters everything revolves around the topic of satellite navigation. Teams with ideas, solutions and innovative fields of application that deal with a wide variety of satellite navigation usage methods can apply.
Copernicus Masters
In the preliminary round of the Copernicus Masters in Baden-Württemberg, the focus is on earth observation. We are looking for ideas, solutions, applications and projects that specialize in the use of earth observation data.
