A labor accident occurred at noon on Saturday (30/3) at the Chalkida Shipyards in Evia, with one man losing his life.
The accident occurred when the unlucky worker was crushed by iron doors, the causes of which remain unclear so far.
According to the Coast Guard, the 42-year-old was transported by EKAV ambulance to the general hospital of Chalkida, where he was pronounced dead.
The Central Port Authority of Chalkida undertook the preliminary investigation for this tragic incident.
