Kofta to me
You can make Malai Kofta in Navratri special thali. To make it, you need ingredients like potato, paneer, buckwheat flour, rock salt, black pepper powder etc. Grate potato, paneer and mix all the other ingredients in it to make a round ball. By pressing in the middle of the ball, raisins, chironji can be filled inside it. Fry all these kofta balls in oil. Pour oil in a pan and fry whole hot spices, ginger, garlic. People also use Sama’s rice in Navratri. You can make sama pulao for fasting. To make this, fry cashews in ghee and take them out. Then add small cardamom, cumin, cloves and fry them in the same pan. Add one cup of sama rice in it. Fry lightly. Add water two and a half times that of rice. Add fried cashews, green chillies and let it cook covered. Sama pulao is ready.
