Chairman of the Religious Zionist Party Ready to Expel Muslims and Arabs from Israel

TEL AVIV – Zionist Party Leader Religious Bezalel Smotrich has threatened to expel other Arab and Muslim communities who do not accept Jewish rule in Israel .

Earlier, member of the Israeli parliament from the Arab community, Ahmad Tibi from the Arab List coalition gave an interview with Radio 103FM.

He was then consulted on a statement made by Chief Rabbi Safed Shmuel Eliyahu, who in 2019 stated, “The land (of Israel) is vomiting out of Arabia.”

Tibi called Eliyahu “racist trash” and added, “I hate him. A rabbi shouldn’t speak like that, and if a sheikh speaks like that about Jews, then he should be cursed too.”

The far-right Smotrich defended Eliyahu on Twitter by stating, “A true Muslim needs to know that the Land of Israel belongs to the Jewish people, and over time Arabs like you who do not admit it will not live here. Rabbi Shmuel and his followers, we among them, will make sure of that. “

Tibi replied, “I am glad that you will not become a minister without depending on the Arabs,” adding in German, “Du bist ein rassist (you are racist).”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s camp is trying to mobilize support from the Arab List coalition to achieve a majority of 61 seats to form a governing coalition.
