(PLO) – National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue noted that Phu Yen needs to urgently effectively implement four key tasks for breakthrough development.

On the afternoon of March 2, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue worked with the Standing Committee of the Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee on the results of implementing political tasks in recent times and the plan for 2024.

After listening to reports and recommendations of leaders of Phu Yen province, opinions of members of the National Assembly and Government working groups speaking at the meeting, the Chairman of the National Assembly noted and praised the results, achievements of the Party Committee, government and people of the province Phu Yen achieved in recent times.

Review and improve the system of legal documents

National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue noted that 2024 is a year of “acceleration”, creating a solid foundation for 2025 to successfully “finish” the resolutions of Party congresses at all levels and the Resolution of the 13th Party Congress. At the same time, work began to prepare for party congresses at all levels, moving towards the 14th Party Congress.

Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue requested Phu Yen province to urgently review the laws just promulgated by the National Assembly, especially the Land Law (amended), and recently passed laws and resolutions.

The province needs to proactively develop mechanisms and policies suitable to the local practical situation. Urgently complete the legal framework for integrated management of coastal resources, effective exploitation of marine resources, and detailed regulations on sea reclamation activities, especially after the Government promulgates a decree regulating about sea reclamation activities.

The Party Committee of the Provincial People’s Council needs to coordinate with the Party Committee of the Provincial People’s Committee to review the system of legal documents of the province to advise the Provincial Party Committee to develop a plan to amend, supplement and complete. The Chairman requested the Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee to pay attention to leading and directing the work of developing legal documents in the next term.

Mobilize resources to realize provincial planning

The Chairman of the National Assembly emphasized: “Time is force.” After the planning announcement ceremony, Phu Yen needs to urgently deploy solutions to effectively implement the four key tasks and development breakthroughs that have been identified.”

The Chairman noted that the province needs to urgently provide information on planning; Introduce and promote the province’s potential, advantages, preferential policies, and priority project lists to investors; thereby mobilizing resources to realize the provincial planning.

Focus on reviewing land use planning in the direction of developing infrastructure for production and urban development associated with the urban economy. Strive to build Tuy Hoa City into a class 1 urban area, a coastal city with a system of green parks and forests in the city center and gradually develop into a marine economic center of the Central region. .

The Chairman of the National Assembly requested Phu Yen province to continue to innovate the growth model associated with promoting economic restructuring associated with exploitation; Maximize the potential and strengths of the province in accordance with the development motto: one spearhead – two corridors – three pillars – four foundations – five key tasks.

The Chairman noted focusing on developing and perfecting infrastructure, especially investing in infrastructure to serve production such as: seaport services, Bai Goc seaport, Hoa Tam industrial park, LNG warehouse…

Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue noted and assigned the National Assembly Office to synthesize proposals and recommendations from Phu Yen province and send them to relevant agencies to study, consider and resolve according to their authority and in accordance with the law. , on the principle of creating conditions and maximum support for socio-economic development of Phu Yen province. For issues falling under the jurisdiction of the National Assembly, the National Assembly Standing Committee will urgently consider and decide.

Before that, immediately after arriving in Phu Yen, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and the working group directly inspected the anti-erosion embankment project along the Xom Ro coast in Tuy Hoa city.

On this occasion, the National Assembly’s working delegation awarded Phu Yen province 10 billion VND from the campaign of the Chairman of the National Assembly to build a primary school and supported 5 billion VND to build 100 houses for poor households.
