Counselor Turki Al-Sheikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, announced the holding of a concert, which he described as exceptional, entitled “A Night of Arab Stars” and performed by a group of female singers from the Arab world, on December 31, 2023, on the occasion of the New Year’s celebration.
Al-Sheikh published posters for the ceremony individually, via his Twitter account, with each poster including a star for the ceremony.
The posters revealed 6 singers from the stars of the Arab world, namely (Asma Lamnawar, Ahlam, Asala, Angham, Nancy Ajram, and Elissa), and the concert was led by Maestro Hani Farhat.
A number of concerts were held recently under the patronage of Chancellor Turki Al-Sheikh, including the “Masterpieces of Baligh Hamdi” concert, with the participation of an elite group of singing stars in Egypt and the Arab world, in addition to the “Night of Tears 2” concert after the success of the first concert that was held last August, in which he participated. Turki Al-Sheikh is keen to hold a number of concerts for the most prominent musicians in Egypt and the Arab world in appreciation and honor of their artistic career, the most prominent of which was the “Masterpieces of Al-Muji” concert in honor of the late musician Muhammad Al-Muji, and the “Shenouda Memories” concert in honor of the great musician Hani Shenouda.
It is noteworthy that Turki Al-Sheikh recently screened the horror and suspense film “The Cello” in his first cinematic experience, which is a novel of the same name by “Turki” and published in 2021.
