Ajman, October 18 / WAM / Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman, reviewed the latest digital technologies, smart applications and qualitative projects at the GITEX Global 2023 exhibition, in its 43rd session, which is hosted by the Dubai World Trade Center during the period from 16 to 20 This October.
He praised the exhibition, which succeeded in consolidating its global position and highlighted the positive image of the United Arab Emirates, a leader in the field of digital transformation and artificial intelligence, explaining that GITEX is a global platform for showcasing the latest technical products and solutions, and a beacon that brings together major entities, technology makers and developers in the world.

Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi began his visit to the exhibition by briefing him on the most prominent achievements of Ajman government agencies and departments in the technical fields, the latest digital innovations and smart services, appreciating the intensified efforts and integration of work between the agencies to simplify the customers’ journey, and provide an easy and smooth experience for partners and community members.
He praised the platform’s review of more than 40 new services to ensure quality of life and community happiness. He also valued the signing of partnership and cooperation agreements with government and private agencies to explore the latest global innovations and technologies, and build new partnerships that enhance the digital transformation process in the Emirate of Ajman.
He expressed his pride in the ambitious cadres in the Emirate of Ajman who do not stop making achievements and moving forward on the desired path of improvement and development to provide the best for everyone.

He toured the exhibition stands and learned about the latest technologies in the Etisalat pavilion, including a self-driving aircraft that works with extreme accuracy in determining the location. He continued his visit by inspecting the du pavilion and being informed of the du project to preserve the Ghaf tree to ensure environmental sustainability.
The visit included the Abu Dhabi Government platform, where he followed an explanation about the smart inspection car project, which operates according to a highly advanced digital system that relies on technology and artificial intelligence techniques.
He listened to an explanation about the Dubai Police floating center project, in addition to being briefed on artificial intelligence projects to detect building violations, and the digital platform for construction in Dubai Municipality.
Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi also reviewed an explanation of the projects of several entities, including the Dubai Sports Council, the General Administration of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, the Ministry of Justice, in addition to the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs and Port Security, saying that we are proud of a global event that achieves qualitative successes and honorable achievements in each session. Bringing together under its roof more than 6,000 exhibitors and 180,000 technology executives from more than 180 countries.
