Chairman of the Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas met on Friday, October 13 in Rabat Ammon with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
According to Palestinian media, during the meeting the PA head stressed the need to immediately put an end to Israeli “aggression” against the Palestinian people and provide them with protection.
Abbas also expressed strong opposition to the expulsion of Palestinian residents from the Gaza Strip, as this would be considered the second “Nakba” of the Palestinian people.
He called for the urgent opening of humanitarian crossings in the Gaza Strip and the provision of medical equipment, water, electricity and fuel to local residents. He recalled the human tragedy in the Gaza Strip after the cessation of the only power plant and the provision of humanitarian services.
In addition, the head of the PA said that it is necessary to stop the “terror of the colonialists” and the “extremist invasion” of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, which, as he put it, are causing the escalation of the situation.
At the same time, Abbas expressed disagreement with actions related to the killing or brutal treatment of civilians on both sides, and called for the release of civilians, prisoners and detainees.
As Cursor reported, the US Congress supported Hamas terrorists. It is noteworthy that all these congressmen are members of the same US party.
Let us recall that former US President Trump criticized Netanyahu for the lack of preparation for the Hamas attack.
We also wrote that the United States sent a second plane with military assistance to Israel.
