In the morning the fact of the fire was confirmed by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation.

Verbatim EMERCOM of the Russian Federation: “In Moscow, firefighters extinguished a fire. A transformer was burning in the South-Eastern Administrative District. The fire was quickly extinguished by 70 specialists and 20 pieces of equipment.”

The Russian department assures that the fire in the transformer did not affect the functioning of Moscow’s power supply systems.
