Prolific and unclassifiable Chagall

Until January 7, 2024, Marc Chagall takes possession of the digital space. The exhibition presents all of his creation, focusing on the painter in the process of devoting himself to his art.

Paris and New York, emblematic capitals of modern art, represent two crucial stages in the long trajectory of the artist.

Chagall is unclassifiable, his works are present in several countries that cannot be placed in any box or artistic movement, he flourishes over time by drawing on his experiences, his travels, his beliefs.
These works are brought to light in a new dimension thanks to the projections designed by L’Atelier des Lumières.

The music so close to Chagall benevolently surrounds the loop dedicated to him: jazz, classical music, klezmer…
Throughout the course you will find the emblematic works of Marc Chagall: The Pont de Passy and the Eiffel Tower. The Song of Songs IV. The circus. Moses receiving the tablets of the law. A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the newlyweds and of course the sublime stained glass windows, not forgetting the ceiling of the Opéra Garnier.

Moving, touching, Chagall Paris-New York is a magnificent tribute to the painter and to all the richness of his works!

Paul Klee paints music

The short program of the exhibition is dedicated to Paul Klee. On the airs of the Magic Flute, a nod to Klee’s fascination for opera and particularly for Mozart, we experience a jubilant moment.

The visitor walks and attends the opening of an opera in an imaginary city, an underwater concerto in the middle of gold and multicolored fish, passing through the rhythm of its geometric structures.
This moment devoted to Paul Klee is 10 minutes of intense pleasure!
