Chacko Mathew Elected as Lakes of Edgewater Sub-Division Chairman in Houston’s Sugarland First Colony Community Service Association

Houston: Chacko Mathew (Sunny) who has made his mark in the social, cultural and community sectors has been elected as the Lakes of Edgewater Sub-Division Chairman of the Sugarland First Colony Community Service Association (FCCSA) of Houston, one of the largest Home Owners Associations in America and the largest Home Owners Association in the state of Texas.

Although defeated in the election to the board of directors of the association by a very few votes, he was elected as the sub-division representative with a large majority.

Chacko Mathew said that while working as a representative of the people, the association will raise its voice against the unnecessary fines and violation notices being implemented. A thorough study of rape cases against Indians and American citizens from other Asian countries
Chacko also said that he will try to avoid violation notices and fines.

The Sugarland First Colony Community Service Association is the governing body for over 80 Home Owners Associations located in the major Texas cities of Sugar Land and Missouri City, representing nearly 20,000 homes, over 800 multi-family units and 4,314 businesses.

The 54-year-old, who lived and worked on Long Island, New York, for 30 years and worked for 22 years as the senior director of the New York City Government’s Hoaxing Department, has put aside his continued life in Houston for social work.

He holds an M.Tech degree from the New York Institute of Technology and a Diploma in Housing Counseling and Addiction Counseling from Stanford University.

Chacko Mathew is a perfect democrat and has a clear vision of social activities, with transparency, operational efficiency and financial discipline as his personal stamp.

Chacko Mathew also expressed his desire to contest the next election as a member of the city council of Sugarland City, where Indians live a lot.
