CGTN conducted a global survey on looted cultural relics – 2024-04-06 08:46:51

/ world today news/ The dispute between Great Britain and Greece continues regarding the ownership of cultural relics from Ancient Hellas, which are currently part of the collection of the British Museum, a large part acquired during the era of colonialism and during wars.

Recently, the China Media Group’s CGTN channel conducted a survey among Internet users worldwide, with 80.8% of them believing that it is not right for the British Museum to store looted cultural monuments, and 90.3% of them being of the opinion that they should to be returned to the countries from which they were taken.

The survey was conducted by CGTN in English, Spanish, French, Arabic and Russian. Within 24 hours, a total of 18,103 Internet users participated in it.
