There is a command and control logic.” So the general secretary of the CGIL, Maurizio Landini, intervenes on the topic of abortion during the demonstration with Uil. An appointment that follows closely strike on April 11th and puts on the streets the slogan “Enough is enough!” for health and safety in the workplace, for the right to healthcare and public health, for a “fair” tax reform and the protection of wages.

From the stage, the leader of the CGIL attacks the “government and this right who want to build a regime to prevent people from demonstrating and controlling what they do and say.” Reference in particular “to the attack on the right to strike” which is “replaced by the right to charge those who demonstrate”.

In the Def, an “empty box”, health spending “is reduced from 6.4 to 6.2% of GDP”; and in the Pnrr, beyond the “deceptions” the health of the territory is “cut”.
And there’s no shortage of Landini’s lunge on the Taxa chapter in which “the money is not taken where it exists, from tax evasion worth 90 billion” but rather “amnesties, amnesties, agreements” arrive.

The secretary of Uil, Pierpaolo Bombardierisays: “We are here to prove that there is a real country that suffers, who have difficulty making ends meet, using health services: 6 million poor people, 5 million workers with expired contracts are waiting for answers, on work, safety, healthcare. And there are people who always pay taxes and someone who never pays them and the government pretends not to see”. And again: “We expect attention and concrete answers from politics, we have a politics that is very worried about electoral competitions”.
From Bombardieri also a reference to relations with the CISL: “There are different sensitivities, we continue on unitary platforms. We have gone through other periods in which the union had different visions, we will overcome this too. Trade union pluralism is an asset”, says the general secretary of the Uil. And he adds: “On May 1st we will all be together for a great demonstration”.
