It is a booming sector: digital support for companies has experienced a new lease of life since the start of the health crisis, with the rise of teleworking in certain sectors. The CGI group is recruiting 50 permanent contracts in its agency in Niort, which already has 120 employees, to cope with the increase in activity. 25 people have already been hired in the last six months.
IT or insurance related positions
The local clientele in Niort, largely occupied by the insurance sector, is one of the sectors in which teleworking and IT tools have particularly developed. “On a the chance to benefit from an insurance sector resilient in the face of the crisis, and from the digital transformation which is a lever for companies that have been in difficulty “, explains the deputy director of the agency, Laurent Delaunay.
Since February, we have found a turnover as before covid. We have very strong growth.
Among the 50 permanent contracts to be filled, many professional consultant positions related to insurance and banking. “We are looking for project managers, consultants who are familiar with contract or claims management, but also people who are in the more technical IT world”, specifies Laurent Delaunay. It also counts take new markets with local communities and the industrial sector.
Room for young people
Of the 50 positions, around 35%, or about fifteen, are reserved for young graduates. “We are working in a fairly strong partnership with the University of Poitiers and La Rochelle, and with the Cnam, specifies the deputy director of the Niortaise agency. We integrate a certain number of junior employees every year either in internship, or in work-study program, or in CDI directly after leaving school. “
The company is mainly looking for young people with profiles in digital and new technologies, to be able to update customers’ IT tools. “We are hiring _ideally young people from the region_“, insists Laurent Delaunay, himself Niortais. Interested candidates can apply via the CGI group website.
