CGAS IPO Launches on Indonesia Stock Exchange, Shares Drop 10.65%

PT Citra Nusantara Gemilang Tbk (CGAS) officially listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) on Monday, January 8 2023. This issuer in the distribution and natural gas sector is targeting funds of IDR 179.62 billion.

CGAS released 531.42 million ordinary shares or 30% of the issued and paid-up capital after the initial public offering (IPO). Meanwhile, the price offered is IDR 338 per share.

On the first day on the IDX, when this news was written, CGAS shares fell 10.65% or weakened 36 points. CGAS share price fell to 302 per share.

90% of the funds from the IPO are planned to be used by CGAS for payments for the construction of the LND Station (Liquefied Natural Gas) in the Tambun Zone 7 Regional Excavation Field. The use of these funds is categorized as capital expenditure (capex).

Meanwhile, 10% of the proceeds from the IPO will be used for working capital or categorized as operating expenditure (opex). In this IPO, PT Pilarmas Investindo Indonesia acted as the underwriter for the securities issuance.
