Mexico City. The Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) suspended the power supply in Acapulco, Guerrero, as a safety measure in the face of floods reported in the Port.
The state company reported that due to the increase in flooding, the Civil Protection authorities of the federal entity requested the CFE to de-energize the electrical infrastructure of the region, in such a way that 18,365 users do not have the service.
The measure seeks to protect the population during the contingency that arises from the passage of Hurricane John.

He highlighted that he reinforced the availability of workers and material resources to deal with the possible contingency.
The state company will deploy 869 electricians, 117 cranes, 265 light vehicles, a communications vehicle, 57 emergency plants, 45 lighting towers and 2 helicopters, located at strategic points.
