CFE CFO resigns

Jose Antonio Rojas Nieto resigned as finance director of the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE).

The departure of the manager of the electricity company occurred this week, sources from the national electricity company said on Friday. The reasons why Rojas Nieto left the company were not specified.

The resignation of Rojas Nieto is given amid a renegotiation of the CFE with the Single Union of Electrical Workers of the Mexican Republic (SUTERM) to reduce the years required for employees to access retirement.

The position as CFO of the company will be occupied by Edmundo Sánchez Aguilarsources within the CFE commented.
