Under the supervision of head coach Wilfried Nancy, the club’s color bearers have started work ahead of the Major League Soccer season and also the planned CONCACAF Champions League Round of 16 clash February 15 and 22 against Santos Laguna.

Forwards Bjorn Johnsen and Mason Toye were missing, as were defender Robert Thorkelsson and midfielder Ahmed Hamdi. According to journalist Frédérique Guay of the TVA Sports channel, the four men are subject to the protocol of the Garber circuit relating to COVID-19. Toye and Thorkelsson are not in Montreal, unlike Johnsen and Hamdi.

The team will continue its activities at the Olympic Stadium until January 27 before flying to Florida for the rest of its camp.
