MONTREAL – CF Montreal announced on Friday that it has acquired Canadian midfielder Ilias Iliadis, who has agreed to a two-year contract in 2023 and 2024, with two option years in 2025 and 2026.

A 21-year-old Toronto native, Iliadis has dual Canadian and Greek citizenship. He played his minor soccer with Scarborough Olympic Flame SC. Then, after taking part in an Academy camp of the English club Arsenal, in Greece, he joined the Academy of the Greek club Panathinaikos, in January 2015. In August 2021, he joined Panathinaikos B, playing a total of 34 games and scoring two goals in Super League 2, Greece.
Internationally, he played two games for the Greek national under-17 team, making his senior debut on February 6, 2018.
