Everyone we talked to keeps repeating one thing: Kucharski’s condition is very difficult.
– From what I hear, it’s pulmonary fibrosis, a long story. In December, he refused to meet me. He had already said back then that he had to take care of himself. We had a text message contact – tells us one of the politicians, a good friend of Kucharski, who was a member of parliament some time ago.
– I know that Czarek is in Spain, he was put into a pharmacological coma. His condition is very serious. That’s all I know – he adds. Wants to remain anonymous.
Another of the interlocutors, a friend, a former footballer: – This is nothing new. Two weeks ago I received information about health problems.
Kucharski’s friend, another person we asked for a comment, talks reluctantly. It confirms that Kucharski is in a difficult condition. – I believe he will come out of this. I can’t talk anymore, my family asked me to do that – he points out.
“In good hands”
Roman Kosecki, who knows Kucharski very well from the pitch, spoke to the former footballer’s brother.
– That was last week. I’m shocked. I pray for him, I keep my fingers crossed. Czarek’s condition is very difficult, but I heard that he is in very good hands. He’s in a hospital in Spain, Alicante, I think. To my knowledge, Czarek had severe pneumonia, admits Kosecki.
Cezary Kucharski is a former football player, incl. Legia i Sporting Gijon, former Polish representative, participant in the 2002 World Cup. After the end of his career, he was an MP and a football manager, he handled the affairs of mainly Robert Lewandowski.
