/ world today news/ The energy company CEZ will file a lawsuit against the decision of the State Electricity Regulatory Commission to reduce electricity prices from January 1.
This was reported by the Czech news agency CTK, citing the company’s spokeswoman Barbora Pulpanova, writes “Prague Daily Monitor”.
The night tariff for household goods fell by 10%, and the day tariff – by 1%. In order to achieve a reduction in the final price, the operating costs of the three ERPs will be reduced by 2%.
The Czech company ČEZ is currently analyzing the impact of the decision of the State Environmental Protection Agency. The intervention of the regulator is another step with the opposite sign in the energy sector. It deepens the imbalance and undermines investor confidence, Pulpanova points out.
Already after the new prices were announced a few days before the end of 2013, “CHEZ Bulgaria” stated that they would most likely appeal the decision of the State Environmental Protection Agency to the court.
