The Prague Stock Exchange expanded yesterday’s gains and, measured by the PX index, strengthened by 1.52% to 1,362, which are the highest levels since 2008. As on Monday, Čez became the driving force of growth, strengthening by 4.44% to CZK 799. In addition to the continuing rise in electricity prices. energy was the support for the energy company increased target prices from Česká spořitelna to CZK 880 and from J&T to CZK 1,049. Banking stocks also performed well, with Erste Bank strengthening by 1.48% to CZK 974, Moneta Money Bank adding a slight 0.22% above CZK 89 and Komerční banka rising by 0.68% to CZK 885. Insurance company Vig then improved by 0.31% to CZK 645 and Avast ended stronger by 0.66% to CZK 166. On the contrary, Kofole did not succeed with a decrease of -1.25% to CZK 316.
