/ world today news/ Our author Radko Khandzhiev‘s case against CEZ‘s arbitrariness has finally been scheduled after 18 months of procrastination. The first hearing is on December 10, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Sofia City Court (Courthouse in the center of Sofia). The case is under No. 9662 according to the inventory of the Civil Registry Office, 1st Civil Division, 9th Chamber for 2014.
We remind you that Radko Khandzhiev has been without electricity for the seventh year. The electricity supply to his home was cut off by CEZ under the false pretext that he owed BGN 309.
It took three years for another court panel to invalidate the enforcement order and dismiss the claim after CEZ failed to provide any evidence to support its claims that Radko Khandzhiev was a debtor.

The current case, which has been waiting to be scheduled for a year and a half, was filed by Radko Khandzhiev against CEZ.
There are already several court decisions confirmed by our Supreme Court of Justice against energy monopolists, which effectively pay tens of thousands of BGN compensation to victims.
CEZ’s attempts to bribe officials from the legislative, executive and judicial authorities are known. Therefore, we appeal to fellow journalists, human rights defenders and all who oppose the trampling of human rights to attend the first court session of case No. 9662 on the inventory of the SGS, 1st Civil Division, 9th Chamber for 2014, which is to be held on December 10, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Sofia City Court.
