CETYS Mexicali coaches participated in their second workshop of the semester entitled “The art of negotiation” taught by psychologist Pablo Ramírez, as part of the training program designed to continue training them and strengthen their work with student athletes.
The main objective of this series of workshops is to prepare coaches not only in their technical skills, but also in key skills that foster a satisfactory work environment oriented towards the well-being of students.
This new training program for coaches is intended to be taught at the beginning of each semester with three workshops. On this occasion, the first one focused on “Effective Leadership”, while the third workshop will focus on “Emotional Intelligence”.
The structure of the workshops is designed to provide the necessary tools before the start of sports seasons and competitions, with a comprehensive focus on both professional and personal development of coaches.
In addition to training, the program seeks to foster two-way communication between the institution and the coaches. CETYS is not only focused on the profile of the students who graduate, but also on the profile of the coaches it wishes to train.
In this sense, a feedback space is promoted where trainers can suggest topics of interest for future workshops, thus contributing to more relevant and personalized learning.
