“Cēsu alus” invests 250,000 euros in the greener “Cēsu Premium” brand – Market News

Latvia’s largest brewery and non-alcoholic beverage company “Cēsu alus” has invested a total of 250,000 euros in the development of the “Cēsu Premium” brand and in the development of a new product design.

In accordance with the development of the company’s brand “Cēsu Premium”, a new and modern design has been created for the products, and the beer assortment has been supplemented with “Cēsu Premium Green” beer, which is a gluten-free beer. In order to position the beer brand “Cēsu Premium” in accordance with the company’s values, an essential element has been incorporated into the product design – promises of sustainability for future generations. Thus, Cēsu alus is committed to achieving CO2 neutrality in production by 2025, as well as reducing water consumption in the production process by 20%.

“The European Union’s ambition is to achieve climate neutrality by 2050, which means reduced emissions, consumption of natural resources and a fuller circular economy. Taking into account that we make up about 60% of the volume of beer produced in Latvia, our responsibility to society is growing every moment. We have been working on the development of “Cēsu Premium”, which is already the most purchased beer brand. Our promise is an efficient production process that reduces the impact on the environment and creates a link between the company’s values ​​and the design of Cēsis Premium. This will signal our concern for a better future and the popular – crisp and refreshing – taste of beer, in a new and attractive visual language for customers, ”emphasizes Eva Sietiņsone, Chairman of the Board of Cēsu alus.

“Cēsu alus” uses recyclable packaging materials and has made investments in both innovative equipment and equipment replacement. In parallel, Cēsu alus plans environmental initiatives, including planting trees, cleaning forests, saving resources and transferring by-products of beer brewing to farmers, reflecting the company’s philosophy in the new Cēsu Premium product design.

The development of the Cēsu alus brand and the packaging design of the new products have been developed by the global media agency HAVAS. “Cēsu Premium” beer with a new visual look is available in all points of sale.
