The winner of the main category of the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 CE ranking of the fastest growing companies in the Central European region this year is the Czech company Oddin.gg, which creates tools for esports. Second place was also taken by the Czech company MAGU. 17 Czech companies made it to the top fifty.
This year, Czech companies make up a third of the top 50 fastest growing technology companies in the region. Oddin.gg recorded an annual growth rate of 7958 percent. The company creates an ecosystem of technology tools and data analytics in the field of esports. MAGU, which finished second, develops and distributes plant-based probiotic drinks.
This year, other Czech companies JOBka services and Woltair also appeared in the top ten, which were also among the fastest growing companies in the region last year, when the Czech companies FTMO and CityZen dominated the ranking.
“Behind our success is a combination of determination and the ability to overcome major challenges, including overcoming two moments when the very existence of the company was threatened. We believed in our vision and moved on,” said Oddin.gg co-founder and director Vlastimil Venclík.
The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 CE competition awards companies in four categories. In addition to the main Fast 50 for established start-ups, there is an Impact Stars category for companies with a positive social impact, Companies to Watch for promising start-ups and CE Tech Rocketship! in collaboration with Google Cloud for pioneering technological solutions.
In the Companies to Watch category, young, dynamic companies with significant growth potential were awarded, which may be future candidates for the main category. As in the Fast 50 ranking, it evaluates the rate of growth of sales, but with the difference that only the most recent three-year accounting period is followed instead of four years. In this category, the Czech company Antivirus won with the Patron GO application, which automatically analyzes bank payments for its users and offers them a more economical option or a better service for the same price.
The Impact Stars category honors companies that contribute to positive changes in society and the market with their innovative products and services. This year, the award for the Czech Republic went to Kardi AI Technologies, FaceUp Technologies and M.arter. Kardi AI uses artificial intelligence to make long-term ECG monitoring a simple and affordable process, and the M.arter service helps parents and employers balance family life with career, thanks to educational programs, an advertising portal with flexible hours, services and products for companies.
CE Tech Rocketship Special Award! Born Digital was acquired by Deloitte and Google Cloud this year. The latter developed the Digital Human platform, which is capable of performing almost any cognitive or administrative operation like a real human.
