CESFAM OFFICIALS WILL ADDRESS SOCIAL PROBLEMS THROUGH THE THEATER

During this day, CESFAM officials Dr. Juan Lozic Pérez, Marcela Ramírez Pérez, and Silvana Mendoza Guerrero, met with the General Secretary of CORMUNAT, Ida Ximena Velásquez Díaz, in order to communicate the creation of a theater group formed by officials of said institution.
In this regard, Marcela Ramírez indicated that it is an idea that arose many years ago as a concern of the officials themselves and that it has now been possible to materialize, the idea of the group is to be able to work on social issues, such as violence against women, see issues associated with mental health that was greatly affected as a result of the pandemic and thus be able to address them with the community in a more playful way and in this way be able to generate feedback with the experiences that our users live.
Silvana Mendoza pointed out that an invitation was made to all CORMUNAT and CESFAM officials who were interested in participating, achieving to date the registration of 12 interested parties and they hope to be able to make the premiere as a company during the month of September, the officials of the center of health were emphatic in pointing out that all the preparation and rehearsals be carried out outside working hours, since it has a commitment not to affect the agenda and work that the officials carry out in the health center.
In this regard, the General Secretary of CORMUNAT, indicated that it is an excellent initiative that the officials have presented, especially the power to seek through artistic expression such as theater, a different way of approaching such complex issues that day by day day affect the community.
