With a statement published on their social networks, César Torres said goodbye to his role as technical director of Alianza Fútbol Clubafter the Vallenato club announced its departure after the defeat against Deportes Tolima on Friday, March 29 in Valledupar.
“With deep gratitude I write to you to express my sincere gratitude for the opportunity to serve once again as technical director of this great club and for the achievements achieved during my process.”the statement reads.
Torres assured that since took on the challenge of directing Alianza FC and committed to “take the club to new levels”, Among those achievements, the classification to the Copa Sudamericana stands out.
“Throughout our time together, we achieved significant milestones in just 9 months, as was the classification to Sudamericana and its group stage and we managed to avoid relegation overcoming challenges with determination and unity. Together, we celebrated exciting victories and learned from defeats. Every moment on the field has been an opportunity to grow and strengthen ourselves as a team, as professionals and as human beings”Torres said.
He thanked the team managers and the players for their dedication and commitment. Likewise, he wished Alianza Fútbol Club success in its next challenges.
