The media doctor at the Ramón y Cajal Hospital in Madrid values the covid struggle in the United Kingdom
Dr. César Carballo, Deputy Director of Emergencies at the Ramón y Cajal Hospital in Madrid, has become one of the best-known voices on the coronavirus pandemic thanks to his frequent television appearances.
This week, Carballo has revealed via his Twitter account a policy being pursued by the UK Government to fight the coronavirus, in addition to mass vaccination.
The UK’s National Health System (NHS) website itself explains that authorities are offering citizens the chance to get up to two free coronavirus tests a week.
In his tweet, Dr. César Carballo highlights the “clear guidelines” of this policy implemented by the Government led by Boris Johnson, which on the other hand has very advanced vaccination.
“About one in three people with Covid have no symptoms but can still become infected,” recalls the NHS. “Testing regularly is the only way to know if you have the virus,” they add.
“If people get a positive result and self-isolate, this helps stop the spread of the virus,” says the NHS.
