Chelsea captain César Azpilicueta open voice about the rumors linking him with Barcelona. Azpilicueta is said to be close to Barcelona
Azpilicueta has entered the final months of his contract at Chelsea. His contract with the Blues will expire in June 2022.
Azpilicueta reportedly did not rule out a new challenge. The 32-year-old defender is said to be moving to Barcelona soon.
The news was then asked to Cesar Azpilicueta in a press conference ahead of the Spanish team match. Here’s Azpilicueta’s answer.
“This is not the right place and the right moment to talk about my future,” Azpilicueta said as reported by Football Espana.
Cesar Azpilicueta is one of the most senior players at Chelsea today. He has played for Chelsea since 2013.
Azpilicueta has so far made 464 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions. He helped bring Chelsea to win various prestigious titles, including the last Club World Cup title.
