Düsseldorf. Qualification project “Steep template in professional life” helps young people in the search for a professional perspective

Seven young people have now received their certificates and trainer licenses as part of their successful participation in the “Steilvorlage ins Berufsleben” project run by the Düsseldorf Youth Careers Agency in cooperation with the Düsseldorf Job Center. City director Burkhard Hintzsche presented this to Aimen Ben Romdhane, Nick Burghartz, Lendrit Dobrijanca, Khalid Ibrahim, Idris Khairi Said, Ghassan Matar and Mohammed Matar on Friday, March 19, in the arena sports park.

Burkhard Hintzsche is happy with the young people: “A great achievement that deserves great respect. I wish you very much that at some point you will take over a children’s team and pass on what you have learned. It is extremely important that popular sports have trained coaches. But it’s great for yourself too. The training and responsibility for the further development of children is a fantastic balance to professional life. I would like to thank the youth professional aid, the Niederrhein football association and the job center for the great idea and implementation – especially in times of pandemics when changes in the framework conditions had to be implemented at short notice. “

Melanie Spengler, Managing Director of Jugendberufshilfe Düsseldorf, also congratulates: “Congratulations and a big compliment to the young people who showed perseverance during this special time and not only successfully participated in the project, but also managed to receive the major certificate . My heartfelt thanks also go to the colleagues who have contributed to the success of the project with a lot of commitment, flexibility and creativity. “
In addition to speaker Frank Peters from the Niederrhein Football Association, the handover and cooperation partner from the very beginning were Peter Frymuth, Vice President of the DFB and President of the Niederrhein Football Association, and Christian Wiglow, Head of the Düsseldorf Job Center, which financed the project from the start.

Despite the ongoing corona pandemic and the associated challenges, the seven young people supervised by the youth vocational assistance not only successfully completed the qualification, but also received the award as team leader and children’s trainer. A total of ten young people took part in the qualification, two of whom are still in the project or in follow-up support. Eight participants have already been successfully placed.

The municipal subsidiary’s project, which has existed since 2012 and lasts a total of six months, offers a varied range of training courses and licenses for the Lower Rhine Football Association with a weekly attendance of 30 hours. Football enthusiasts who have completed compulsory schooling and have not found a training place can use this to qualify for professional life with a sporting focus and acquire licenses from the Niederrhein Football Association or DFB licenses.

Background youth professional help
Since 1980, the youth career assistance has been accompanying mainly young people up to the age of 25 on their way to a self-determined life. With a wide range of offers for professional qualifications, it supports young people in finding an apprenticeship or a job and thus a professional perspective.
