Certificates for two regional companies

With Hanse Haus GmbH in Oberleichtersbach and Stockmann GmbH in Fuchsstadt, two companies from the Bad Kissingen district are participating in the Bavarian Environment and Climate Pact. For this they have now been awarded a certificate of participation by the Bavarian Ministry of the Environment.

Commitment appreciated

“I am proud that we have companies in our district that are so active in corporate environmental protection and thus contribute to sustainable development,” said District Administrator Thomas Bold, who unfortunately cannot hand over the certificates in person because of the corona pandemic in a press release from the District Office is called. “Both companies have been actively committed to environmental and climate protection for years, on a wide variety of levels.” Among other things, Hanse Haus uses the renewable raw material wood in wooden panel construction.

Sustainability award

A large part of the individually planned and realized customer houses is equipped with photovoltaic systems, many builders also use a battery storage and a wallbox to charge their electric vehicles. The company has already been awarded the Mainfranken Sustainability Prize for its energetic measures. In addition, Hanse Haus can decorate itself with the title “Blooming Operation”, which was awarded as part of the “Blooming Pact Bavaria” initiative because of the particularly insect-friendly measures.

Stockmann GmbH is committed to resource conservation and recycling management. Building rubble, soil and asphalt are processed at the company’s own recycling site and recycled.

Groundwater conserved

The fabrics are moistened during the production of rainwater that was previously collected. This protects the groundwater and at the same time reduces dust. The vehicle fleet is also cleaned with the rainwater. Reducing noise also plays a major role, for example by buying quieter machines, the press release said. red
