A violent storm of water this afternoon hit the city of Cerignola causing enormous inconvenience to traffic, but also and above all flooding and damage. I am personally monitoring the situation in all the neighborhoods, I will keep you updated” concludes the mayor.
Areas without electricity and flooded Enel substations. The main criticalities were recorded in the Mercadante area, via Trinitapoli, via Monte Bianco. Enel is taking steps to install three generators to resolve power line outages, including those in Corso Aldo Moro.
The violent downpour caused damage to the turf of the Monterisi stadium. The changing rooms were completely flooded.
