The crisis meeting of the Gabonese Democratic Party (PDG) held yesterday in Libreville ended with the appointment of new leaders. According to the Gabonese Press Agency (AGP), at the end of this meeting, Ali Bongo Ondimba was stripped of his post as president of this political party. “As of today, a Party delegation went to the private residence of the Distinguished Comrade President of the Party, Mr. Ali Bongo Ondimba. The purpose of this meeting was, in addition to obtaining news of his state of health, which reassured us, to notify him of his forfeiture of the presidency of the said Party due to his multifaceted incapacity., declared Luc Oyoubi, SGA1 and interim SG of the former ruling party.
