New Delhi: Suchana Seth, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of a startup company who had come to visit from Bengaluru, was arrested for the murder of her four-year-old son in a hotel in Goa. Police said on Tuesday that Soochna Seth tried to commit suicide after allegedly committing the most brutal crime. Information: Seth has been sent to police custody for 6 days. He was caught while trying to escape in a cab by stuffing his son’s body in a bag in Chitradurga district of Karnataka.
According to a TOI report, preliminary investigation revealed that after strangulating her son to death, the 39-year-old woman tried to commit suicide by slitting her left wrist with a sharp object. A senior police officer said, “The blood stains found on a towel in the service apartment were due to her wrist being cut.” The motive behind the murder of the child is not known, but Seth told the police that she and her husband were separated and their divorce proceedings were currently going on.

How was Seth caught?
The CEO killed his four-year-old son in his hotel room. After committing the crime, this woman would have silently escaped from the spot along with the dead body, but due to a small mistake, she got caught by the police. The hotel staff and the cab driver played an important role in uncovering this entire conspiracy. According to the police, after committing the murder in the room, the woman requested the hotel staff to book a taxi for her to Bengaluru. This was the only reason for his getting stuck.

After the woman checked out from the hotel room, the staff arrived to clean the room. Where they found red blood stains at many places. The hotel staff immediately informed the police about the matter. Police reached the hotel and tried to contact the woman through the driver. When the police inquired about the woman’s son, she told that the child was staying at a friend’s place. However, the police found the address given by the woman to be fake. The driver was asked to take the car to the police station and after checking the luggage, the police found the boy’s body. After which an FIR was registered against the woman and she was arrested.
