CEO Jouska Aakar Abyasa Arrested at Bareskrim Rutan

CEO of PT Jouska Financial Indonesia Aakar Abyasa Fidzuno He was detained at the Bareskrim Rutan after the Police Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim) completed the investigation and handed it over to the Public Prosecutor (JPU).

Head of Sub-Directorate V of IKNB Dittipideksus Bareskrim Kombes Ma’mun said that the detention was carried out by a team of prosecutors at the Police Bareskrim Detention Center.

“Aakar has been detained. We have handed it over to the Prosecutor’s Office, and then he was detained,” said Ma’mun when confirmed, Friday (18/3).

Ma’mun explained that the transfer of the suspects and evidence had been carried out since three weeks ago. This means that in the near future the fraudulent investment case will be transferred.

The public prosecutor will prepare an indictment for later submission to the court.

“It’s just waiting for the trial,” said Ma’mun.

For information, the case for determining the suspect was carried out on September 7, 2021. Bareskrim, he said, had conducted an examination of Aakar and one other suspect on Wednesday (13/10) yesterday.

The head of the General Information Section (Kabagpenum) of the Indonesian National Police at that time, Kombes Ahmad Ramadhan explained that the investigation was carried out on the investigation of four different police reports in which losses were recorded up to Rp. 6 billion. Apart from Aakar, investigators also named Tias Nugraha Putra as a suspect.

According to him, in this case, Aakar has a lawsuit for managing the investment money of a number of people without having a permit or illegally. This then dragged him to the legal process after many people lost money.

Aakar is suspected of a capital market crime and/or fraud and/or embezzlement and/or money laundering as referred to in Article 103 paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 30 and/or Article 103 paragraph 1 jo. Article 34 and/or Article 104 Jo. Article 90 and/or Article 104 Jo. Article 91 of Law No. 8 of 1995 concerning the Capital Market.

In addition, Article 378 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 372 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 3, Article 4, Article 5 of the Law on the Eradication of the Crime of Money Laundering.
