CEO Erigo Muhammad Sadad questioned over Rachel Vennya’s case

CEO dan Founder Erigo, Muhammad Sadad was examined by investigators from the Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya in a case of violation of health quarantine provisions involving Rachel Vennya, Tuesday (9/11).

Deputy Director of Criminal Investigation at Polda Metro Jaya AKBP Jerry Siagian said Sadad was being questioned in his capacity as a witness.

“Yes, that’s right, as a witness,” said Jerry when confirmed, Tuesday (9/11).

It is known, Rachel left for the United States as an invitation from fashion brand Erigo for the New York Fashion Week (NYFW) 2022 event last September.

Sadad has come to fulfill the summons of investigators at Polda Metro Jaya and currently the investigation process is still ongoing.

For information, investigators from the Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya have named four suspects in this case of violating the health quarantine provisions.

They are Rachel Vennya and Salim Nauderer who is his lover. In addition, also Rachel’s manager, Maulida Khairunnia and someone with the initials OP as protocol at Soekarno Hatta Airport.

In this case, the police ensnared the suspects under Law Number 6 of 2018 concerning Health Quarantine and Law Number 4 of 1984 concerning Outbreaks of Infectious Diseases.

The four people have also been examined as suspects on Monday (8/11) yesterday.
