Centrooptico group invests 200 million kz in “audioclinic” health unit – Jornal OPaís

The Centrooptico Group inaugurated yesterday, in Luanda, the new hearing health unit (Audioclinic), with an investment valued at 200 million kwanzas, revealed its general director, João Murteiro. With an area of 200 square meters, the unit has three ENT and audiology offices and an area for carrying out exams. João Murteiro expressed his satisfaction, highlighting that, in 2019, Centrooptico launched pioneering services in prevention and hearing health, aiming to fill a gap identified in the Angolan market.

According to the group’s general director, seven professionals were hired to open the Audioclinic, including a speech therapist, three audiometry technicians and three audiometry technical assistants. “Angolans can believe that this health unit will be a space that works with ethics, rigor and that only thinks about the well-being of everyone. We are in eight provinces and, with regard to visual health, we will continue to take health services to places where access is very difficult”, he highlighted.

In this health unit, he continued, a wide range of hearing aids and accessories with different characteristics are also available, so that users can find the solution that best adapts to their lifestyle. The administrator of Grupo Centro Óptico, Amyn Habib, emphasized that the objective of the group he heads is to democratize access to healthcare, not only visual but also auditory.

And the creation of Audioclinic, he assured, arises precisely from the need to give more strength to this business area focused exclusively on hearing health and respond, at the same time, to the growing demand for these services. Amyn Habib highlights that this unit has cutting-edge equipment and technology, and a team of specialist technicians, to ensure the provision of differentiated services to the population.
