Central Kalimantan Men and League 2 Clubs Agreed to Start a New Season, Don’t Blame Erick Thohir

BOLASPORT.COM – Central Kalimantan Men and all League 2 clubs have agreed to start the new 2023/2024 season.

This was after the results of the National Football Workshop in Surabaya, East Java, Saturday (4/3/2023).

This workshop was held according to the promise of the General Chairperson of PSSI, Erick Thohir, and was attended by representatives of League 1 and League 2 clubs.

The main director of Central Kalimantan Putra, Sigit Widodo, was also present at the event.

Sigit assessed that the National Football Workshop was a positive step.

In this activity, PSSI officials are willing to accept input from representatives of League 1 and League 2 clubs in making decisions.

“We see that PSSI’s National Football Workshop is a positive gesture because there is something new in PSSI’s management where clubs are given latitude before the federation makes a decision about the league format,” said Sigit.

“The discussion was interesting, the discussion that was held earlier showed that Mr. Erick, who was accompanied by Mrs. Ratu Tisha as Deputy Chairperson, was very knowledgeable about the problems faced by national football and offered alternative solutions to improve the quality of football, especially the football industry,” he continued.
