The Central Java Regional Police (Jateng) revealed that there were still seven people debt collector who is on the wanted list (DPO) aka fugitive. One of them is the director of the service office debt collector.
Reported detikJatengFriday (8/12/2023), the police had previously arrested eight people debt collector (DC). One of the DCs who is a suspect, TGB (46), actually works in Jakarta. TGB has been DC since 1999. TGB was then ordered to go to Semarang to tow the car.
“If he professional debt collector, From Jakarta, AN was brought in as the director of PT Rajawali, who is still the DPO. “There are still seven suspects who are wanted,” said Director of Criminal Investigation of the Central Java Regional Police, Commissioner Johanson Simamora, during a press conference at the Central Java Regional Police Headquarters, Jalan Pahlawan, Semarang City, Thursday (7/12/2023).
Johanson emphasized that he would continue to hunt down the fugitives. The police warned that they would take firm action if the fugitives did not surrender.
“I, the General Crime Directorate, remind the DPO to immediately surrender. You can run anywhere, but you cannot hide. Our team Jatanras and Resmob will chase you wherever you are. If you don’t surrender, our team will “take decisive, measurable action,” continued Johanson.
According to Johanson, these DCs usually carry out intimidation and violence. This will also increase the threat of punishment. “Intimidation, violence, but the victim is afraid, report it, this is a victim who dares to report it to us, we will take action,” he said.
As previously reported, the police arrested eight DC people after forcibly towing a car belonging to a creditor. The eight people were arrested in two different cases which both occurred in Semarang.
