The Central Java Regional Police confirmed that none of its members pulled a gun on Paku Buwono XIII’s nephew, BRM Suryo Mulyo. Central Java Regional Police public relations chief Kombes Iqbal Alqudussy said the police were separating the conflicting parties.
“During the incident, these members tried to separate the warring parties. And I can point out that no member of the national police pointed their weapons at the time of the incident,” Iqbal told reporters on Sunday (12/25/2022 ).
