Diomande is (unsurprisingly…) part of the list of 53 pre-summoned by the Ivory Coast coach, Jean Louis Gasset, for the CAN, which will be played… at home, from January 13th to February 11th. It is already known that Rúben Amorim will be without the central defender in January, but for now, as A BOLA found out, the Ivorian is ordered to present himself later and thus be an option for the duel scheduled with Portimonense, on 30, game that closes the year 2023.

It is, therefore, one less setback for Rúben Amorim who, remember, has Coates and St. Juste injured, while Gonçalo Inácio will be suspended.
