Central – Commission to investigate the consequences of the earthquake in Turkey

On Thursday, the Turkish parliament voted unanimously on a proposal to establish a parliamentary committee to investigate the consequences of the Kahramanmaraş earthquake that occurred in early February.

The parliamentary blocs of the parties discussed the proposals submitted to the Presidency of the Turkish Parliament in order to investigate the consequences of the earthquake in all aspects to establish earthquake-resistant buildings and to determine the measures to be taken to increase the efficiency of the urban transformation project.

After deputies from the parliamentary blocs delivered their speeches on the proposal, it was decided to vote on it, and the blocs voted unanimously to establish a parliamentary committee to investigate the consequences of the earthquake.
