Accordingly, as of October 13, the Central Bank’s gross foreign exchange reserves increased by 155 million dollars to 83 billion 307 million dollars. Gross foreign exchange reserves were at the level of 83 billion 152 million dollars on October 6.
During the said period, gold reserves increased by 1 billion 460 million dollars, from 39 billion 731 million dollars to 41 billion 191 million dollars.
The total reserves of the Central Bank increased by 1 billion 615 million dollars in the week of October 13 compared to the previous week, from 122 billion 883 million dollars to 124 billion 498 million dollars.
The increase in total reserves from the end of May to the week ending October 13 was 26 billion 40 million dollars, and during this period, total reserves increased for 15 consecutive weeks, breaking the record for the longest increase in the data history that started in 1987.
