Central Armed Forces Hospital: the partial rehabilitation of the second perimeter has come to an end

Accompanied by the doctor colonel Jean Bertin Illoy, representing the central director of health services at the Hôpital des Armies Pierre-Mobengo, and the director general of equipment, general Ambroise Mopendza, the minister of national defense, Charles Richard Mondjo, visited the site of the second rehabilitated perimeter of this hospital.

The purpose of the visit was not only to hand over the rehabilitated space, but also to ensure the proper execution of the work prescribed for the BRRC and Technico companies, relating to the rehabilitation of the operating room, resuscitation, external consultations, surgery A and B in which the presidential suite is located and special hospitalization rooms.

« We arrived here because for two years, major works have been undertaken in this hospital, to try to rehabilitate it. The essentials have been done, but all is not finished, we will need to equip all the rooms in the coming days, then ensure the conditions for maintenance and operation of this equipment. », indicated Charles Richard Mondjo, at the end of the visit. He stressed that the general directorate of equipment and the central directorate of health services must tackle it and make proposals for the next stage.

It should be noted that it was towards the end of 2020 that the rehabilitation works of the infrastructures of the first perimeter of the Central Hospital of the Armed Forces were launched. The works to be carried out were to relate to the rehabilitation of the triage services, emergency rooms 1 and 2, outpatient consultations and special hospitalization rooms.
