San José, Feb 19 (Elpaís.cr).- The Embassy of Costa Rica in Australia reported that the 25th edition of the National Multicultural Festival, organized for three days by the Government of the Australian Capital Territory (ACT, for its acronym in English) and the 112 accredited Diplomatic Missions in the capital city of Canberra.
Costa Rica participated on Sunday along with El Salvador, Guatemala and Panama, in Latin America Day. The influx of visitors to the Central American post is estimated at 19,500. People drank a cup of quality coffee, collected brochures from the countries, and four stamps in the “children’s passport.” In addition, they filled out the ticket for the raffle with four gifts.

The national team was made up of the Counselor and Consul Gonzalo Quesada, the Ambassador’s wife, Marta Guzmán, the Administrative Assistant, Cony Romero, the volunteer Dr. Ana Paula Carrillo in a colorful folk costume, and Ambassador Armando Vargas Araya.
