Libreville, Thursday October 5, 2023 (Infos Gabon) – The visit made yesterday to Bangui by the President of the Transition, Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, to his counterpart Faustin Archange Touadéra aimed to relaunch cooperation between the two countries.
After Equatorial Guinea and the Congo, the President of the Transition continued his sub-regional journey yesterday through the Central African Republic. Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema was thus received by his counterpart, Faustin Archange Touadéra. According to an information note from the Gabonese presidency, the two men discussed continental subjects, the strengthening of bilateral ties as well as the progress made in the establishment of the Committee for the Transition and the Restoration of Institutions in Gabon, in particular the next appointment of members of the National Assembly and the Senate of the Transition.
During this visit, the Gabonese president took the opportunity to interact with the Gabonese diaspora in the Central African Republic. “Happy to have met the Gabonese diaspora in Bangui, whose warm welcome touched me deeply. Your concerns are heard and rest assured that solutions will be found. I invite each of you to actively participate in the development of our dear Gabon,” tweeted the Head of State.
